The GOP had damn well better get the House, at least.

Cook thinks that repeating this “wave” over and over will make for conservatives to be comfy with a win and keep some at home. Not this time.

I’m a little more cautiously optimistic. Yes, there is a backlash brewing, but to the point of overturning a Dem majority?

I find it disheartening that there is even a contest this year over whether the Dems retain control. It should be a slam dunk, in light of the overwhelming evidence of the damage that Dems have inflicted, but the polls are still inconclusive!

We are truly lost if the public is this blind.

Republicans regain the House?

We have to do everything in our power to stop this! If the GOP retakes the House, they’ll NEVER learn the valuable lessons that could be learned from our voting third party and letting the Dems keep control!!

EVERY “Blue Dog” Dem must be defeated, which is 54 seats. They lie to their conservative constituents, then vote exactly the way Pelosi orders them to. And they will vote for her as Speaker, should the Dems win the majority.

Surely, a few liberal Dems can also bite the dust, so 65 seats should be the target. Aim for that, GOP.

You can see how KeyHouseRaces.com ranks the 93 House seats that are in play this year HERE

Charlie Cook's estimate of 35-45 is right in line with how we see it here at FR.

This should be a year in which republicans absolutely DESTROY democrats in November. Unfortunately, republican candidates can invariably be counted on to equivocate, weasel and seek the approbation of the NY Times should an actual QUESTION be asked of them. Taking the conservative stand voters presently long for would be FAR too difficult for these champions of the supple spine and flaccid wrist. In short, a dozen...perhaps dozens of potential victories will be turned into defeat by RINOs and others gutless favorites of party elites.

I still believe that this coming election will make Democrats nostalgic for the "good old days of 1994".

I don't think the GOP has really done anything to earn this, but the Dems have done enough to be literally THROWN out of office.

GOP, you are ON NOTICE - WHEN you get put back into power in November, LEAD for a change.

Don't spend

Don't reach across the aisle

Don't pander
