According to the youtube account that posted the video of the event this shocking act of intimidation happened during a public forum held by Rep Melissa Bean (Il-8) in a public library in Round Lake, Il. The video speaks for itself and, quite frankly, this is disturbing behavior from any elected official. No wonder they kept asking everybody to turn off their video cameras.
I know this isn’t anywhere near the first time that liberal representatives have turned to extreme measures to avoid being held accountable by their constituents, in fact we have a whole catalog of such extreme measures, but this is worse than most. What kind of thug hires muscle to literally physically intimidate their own voters? This is simply despicable.

Are you implying that a police officer can legitimately do this?
It’s quite common in Illinois for many years; used by both R and D. Question a zoning hearing. Try to attend the GOP state convention. My neighbor is 6’5” 300+ lbs. The GOP finds 10 goons bigger than he to make sure he keeps his mouth shut.
Your reaction proves a point that I say to the fellows at work:
“Those Patriots of Lexington and Concord may have died but their bloodline did not. I say often to just sit back and watch as events unfold...we will find that bloodline is still around. Cause that gene is to too strong to die off and will survive for may generations.”
It may have skipped a generation or two but it is coming back.
I am saying that if police officer issues an order and you disobey, you are subject to arrest.
Now if you’re asking if that order is legal , that has to be argued in court. After you have been arrested.
