Birthright Citizenship: Further Proof That American Democracy No Longer Works
The Voice of Reason ^ | August 8, 2010 | Texas Peartree

Lately there has been growing evidence that our democracy is not working. When the majority of New Yorkers oppose a mosque being built adjacent to hallowed Ground Zero, they are called hate-filled. When the majority of California voters approve defining marriage as between a man and a woman, they are dismissed as bigots. When the majority of Americans oppose a government intrusion into health care, they are called ignorant Tea Baggers. When a majority of Arizonans demand that federal immigration law be enforced by the state in the absence of federal action, they are sued.

It was reported today by the Dallas Morning News that 60,000 children of non-citizens are born each year in Texas. Almost all are babies born of illegal immigrants, and all are automatically given US citizens. This means they, and their mother and father, will never be sent home.

Quick math: 60,000 babies per year times 3 (baby, mother and father) equals 180,000. This means that each year in Texas alone 180,000 new permanent residents are made. In a decade 1.8 million new illegal aliens will have a "right" to be in Texas. Now, we can quibble about the numbers. After all, many families will also daisy-chain their baby to allow additional brothers and sisters, uncles and aunts to come to Texas.

Polls show that most Americans do not understand how our immigration system works, and are aghast when it is explained how new citizens are selected. 2/3rds of all legal immigrants get to stay not because they have a skill America needs, but because they have a family member who resides here. Amnesty will create tens of millions of new potential LEGAL immigrants to follow their illegal relatives.

Does it matter that birthright citizenship was never contemplated...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Our nation has been “demoralized”. We have been made crazy and incapable of rational thinking. The former KGB spy, Yuri Besmenov, WARNED us.

Next step: Destabilization!!!

The issues surrounding Obama’s eligibility are really very simple but our representatives ( state and federal), judges, and conservative media are paralyzed in their thinking and actions.

Fact: It is a simple matter to prove that one is a natural born citizen.

Fact: Obama has gone to considerable effort and spent tax dollars and his own to prevent the release of the common documents that would prove ( or disprove) his natural born status.

Fact: A natural born president would be **HONORED** to promptly prove ( with the **best** evidence) to any soldier or other citizen that he was indeed natural born and eligible to be president and Commander in Chief.

Conclusion: That Obama has treated military officers and other citizens in the manner that he has, strongly indicates that he is a usurper.

Simple isn't it?..., but... Even though 6 out of 10 Americans ( 60%) have serious questions about Obama’s eligibility, this **60%** is labeled “fringe” and “kooks”.

There is a very good essay called the “Beware the Crazy Makers”.

Sociopaths are masters at making rational people believe they are crazy.

These idiots who are so eager to set up a dictatorship do not realize that if/when a real dictator takes power, they will be the first ones shot. A skillful dictator like Mao is a success at tapping the repressed rage of the masses and directs it at what is the target. If America ever has its own Mao, then I bet the first in front of the firing squad will be these idiots who aren’t respecting the wishes of the people.

The target of our repressed rage will be the entertainment industry, the effete intellectuals, and the bureaucrats who make moving upward and onward so difficult. A real revolution never goes the way the intellectuals plan. What made Stalin so skilled at running things is that in the first stage of the revolution he was in the streets with the people who were putting their lives on the line for change. Lenin was a bureaucrat who was more interested and focused on ideology and quite elitist. Stalin was the street fighter. He was out there rallying, speeches, and really getting to know the ‘lower tier’ revolutionaries who were in a way looked down on by the off Communists.

The reason the entertainers will be among the first to go is that they have behaved just like the spoiled aristos of pre-revolutionary France with their outrageous demands, behavior, blatant lawbreaking, and plain contempt for honest workers. As it is there is a grassroots resentment at them. And their blatant interference in affairs of state. And the intellectuals because they are subverting and mocking what keeps ‘average’ Americans going, mainly religion, family values, and respect for the law and honest work. They are also grossly out of touch and seek to constantly interfere in pretty much everything without a solid understanding of the workings of the country.

People are sick of it and the right nerve has to be tapped and then there will be indeed revolution, but not the way that these brainless proponents think. I bet that Stalin could have had all the power he wanted if he hadn’t outlawed religion and freedom of enterprise. And if he hadn’t butchered the military and kulaks. Revolution works only of certain fundamentals are left intact. The Chinese have in a twisted way perfected a form of government that allows enterprise, but the freedom is still restricted.

Their success is based on the same things that made America a superpower. They do not let entertainers run rampant in committing crimes, they do not let entertainers interfere in affairs of state. Furthermore, their schools actually teach their students useful, practical things, not just theory and promoting homosexuality. They also don’t have a thirteen percent minority running everything through threats of riots. Chinese society just needs to be coaxed out of its reactionary isolation.

You do know that America is a Constitutional Republic and not a democracy, don't you?
Don't contribute to the subversion.

Like to add an important thing ~ the peasantry of the Vondee provided many times more bodies to the French Revolutionary death rate than did the nobility and the royalists.

The Democrat Party elite ought to think about who among their following will be loyal to the end ~ because that's the crowd that's going to die first!

Being a "republic" simply means we don't have a king or other hereditary nobility. Democracy is a process for ascertaining the public will, and for governing in a lawful manner.

The American experiment has failed. We are no longer a republic; rather, this country is now an oligarchy ruled by an elite minority.

If there is any hope to restore the republic, it requires (1) a return to common-sense interpretation of the Constitution, (2) an end to the executive and legislative branches of government surrending their authority to uphold the Constitution to a corrupt judiciary, (3) a return of senatorial appointments to the state legislatures to reduce Washington DC's grip on power and return some focus to the 50 states, (4) an end of birthright citizenship for illegal immigrants and tourists, (5) a resumption of power limitations on the federal government, (6) an exemption of religious freedoms for cults whose goals include overthrow of our government, and (7) a prohibition against any non-natural born citizen (i.e., anyone born with potential allegiance to a country other than ours) holding federal elective office.

Well then you just keep on believing that. It's your choice.

...in questions of power then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, (democracy) but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the constitution:[23]...(Constitutional Republic)

Hmm, I see "rule of law" means nothing to you.

BTW, Jefferson, in his time, would have looked out to see a world where democracy was little practiced. The Brits didn't even have a decent census to use to redistrict Parliament. The French turned to raw dictatorship during Jefferson's life. The Germans were a corrupt and scattered nation, little given to modern innovations in governance, and Italy was beyond governance.

The Greeks had actually become part of the Ottoman Empire!

I do believe Jefferson's mention of "democracy" in a stand alone sort of way was always HYPOTHETICAL!

Today we see democracy as "participatory", with high regulated and controlled elections for representatives and delegates of other kinds. He may well have been thinking of a handful of "towns" in New England where everyone voted but most of them were not behaving in the way Jefferson imagined them to be ~ given that they were totally democratic.

Does it work? Yes.
Recently caught on cam and reported:
String of illegals running through brush with backpacks
Numerous sightings of boats crossing the river
Numerous vehicles late at night in isolated areas
IMMENSELY satisfying

That would be an incorrect assumption on your part.
You have to have a Constitution to have constitutional law.

Being a Constitutional republic means that the central government has very limited authority, with the limitations set forth in the Constitution. It means that the government exists solely at the pleasure of the source of its LIMITED authority. It means that We, the People, can only grant the government the authority to act that WE OURSELVES legitimately have in our own right. We cannot give to government what we ourselves do not possess. It’s just that simple.
