Moe Lane at Redstate came across this gem of Sheila Jackson speaking about what she called “North” and “South” Vietnam. Problem is, as Lane indicates, there is no “South” Vietnam– it was conquered by the North in 1975.
Well, maybe she just misspoke and is referring to North and South Korea? Not so much as Lane points out once again:
Second, and let us dispose of this right now: she’s not talking about North and South Korea. We know this for three reasons:
* First off, she was quoting a casualty rate of 58K, which is consistent with Vietnam War American casualties but not Korean War ones; * Second, North and South Korea are not anywhere near the point of having normalized relations. Even by North Korean propaganda standards, which are only compatible by normal reality’s standards by the blindest accident; * Third: Rep. Jackson-Lee is a liberal Democratic politician, and they really are that pig-ignorant of American history.

Michael Berry must be getting his parodies ready for the afternoon drive-time show.
The two things she is “smart” about, getting face time on TV and getting things for her hood.
I’m afraid she isn’t our first mentally “delayed” politician. Or even the most “delayed”. Speaking of that, why is calling somoene “retarded” an insult but calling someone “delayed” isn’t when the two words are synonomous?
She may be, in fact, the stupidest member of the House.

Well I say shes tied for first place with the senator (whose name escapes me) didn’t want the military to build a facility on his island because he was concerned that having too many people on the island would cause it to tip over.

That was Rep. Hank Johnson. Rep. Conyers is just as bad, he was the guy who said the “good and welfare” clause (which doesn’t exist) was reason to pass health care. He also said it’s impossible to read bills because you would need a team of lawyers, and during the same interview as the “good and welfare” clause, he said he was going to read the health care bill 2 days before it’s passage, and just “not sleep.”
Calling Queen Sheila a “liberal Democrat” is at least partially officially correct. In fact she is a racist socialist. And unbelievably arrogant and ignorant at the same time.
