President Jeb Bush?
Orlando Sentinel ^ | June 23, 2010 | Paul Owens

Posted on 06/25/2010 9:11:49 AM PDT by inflorida

The New York Times this week published a story based on an interview with the former Florida governor. The main point of the story was that his brother, George W., subscribes to the code that former presidents don’t criticize their successors, so Jeb is the one rebutting the Obama administration’s blame for the economy, the deficit, the oil spill and other national calamities.

But the story also speculates on the prospects for Jeb running for president, as soon as 2012, as “someone who can reposition the party nationally and make its more strident ideology palatable to the wider American electorate.” It notes that Jeb opposed drilling off Florida’s shores, and supported immigration reform.

Jeb is welcome to run.
I can’t see him getting past New Hampshire though.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I never want to hear the words, “Bush” and “president” in the same sentence. Or paragraph. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Three times... just OMG.

Jeb ...supported immigration reform [amnesty for tens of millions of illegals].

Which is why he shouldn't be allowed within 1000 miles of the WH.

Here is the hard cold ugly truth. The guy with the best organization and is most likely to be the front runner is Mitt Romney.

Romney sucks. He won’t be the nominee. He passed a government health care program in Mass very similar to Obamacare.

Exactly the wrong candidate for the Republicans.

No. Time for the elite-families to do stay out of politics. it’s taken forever to dilute the Kennedys, now we have to deal with the Cuomo’s etc.

New blood that sees the Constitution for the great document it is: a check on federal powers.

Of course he is the wrong candidate for the Republicans. So was McCain and he got the nomination.
