Absolutely. THis is happening slowly but surely. All it takes is for a Democrat to see the the MSM slants and misleads ONE TIME. Then the seed of doubt is planted. What I have told Democrat voters is that the targets for all these lies are THEM - not republicans or libertarians.

How often have we at FR thought such thoughts, and yet still the one burning question is how to straighten out the media, and get them to report objective truth.
The Left naturally gravitates to Journalism, Justice, government, and academia.

We already know that Factcheck perpetrated Obama’s COLB forgery.
And we will soon know that the Honolulu Advertiser perpetrated Obama’s announcement forgeries. Convenient that they went out of business.
If we can get the word out, the only people left who will not be livid about the media will be those who are hopelessly mind-damaged.
The old media absolutely shares blame and much anger coming down on them is way past due. There are still TONS of folks who don’t have cable news or internet...and are therefore pummelled with left wing opinion posing as news. We are fortunate to be here on FR and have the internet at our disposal to really investigate news.
I gave up watching the so called “main stream media” a long time ago. I remember the Watergate coverage and the Iran Contra coverage. It got so old hearing about those two events that I walked away from the evening news. I watch from time to time just to see what they are lying about now.
I knew this guy was a cheap, empty suit right from the get go. Anyone who has half a brain and didn’t know is lying or a moron. The interesting part was watching the old guard liberal media to see how far they would go to get their man in office. It’s like someone in here said the sun will come up, water is wet and the mainstream media is a bunch of lying liberals with tingling in their legs. The old media was liberal yesterday, it is today, and will be tomorrow.
Yeah, I have to admit when I am driving behind someone with an Obama sticker on the back of their car I have to fight the urge to ram their vehicle with mine....lol.
If Murdoch-Ailes-Fox can create so much aggravation and distress amongst the left, why not a few more aggravators? It needs a capitalist who actually believes in capitalism to either buy or create more media outlets (print-radio-tv-film) to redress the balance and get some unbiased reporting out there. Where are the true capitalists?
Alternative media, alternative information sources are key. This is why they want to control the internet so badly.
Free flow of information also will have a big impact on academia. I can easily see the day when you can take essentially any course from home, or wherever, online. Standardized testing to evaluate knowledge in a particular field/line of study would be a way of showing that the person who studied independently online knows as much, or more than the person who spent tens of thousands of dollars, or more, to attend a particular University.
I bet you anything that during real crises and calamities (such as another 9/11-type attack), Liberals know to turn to FOX, Drudge, or some other outlet for the truth. They’ll never admit it, though. But they know in their hearts; they may have to hold their nose, but they’ll get it straight from conservative outlets. I quit the MSM a long time ago, except for their affiliates that I listen to for local weather and school closings. That’s IT.

Murdoch is actually a Leftist, BUT he’s more a capitalist. Rather strange, and breaks the Leftist mold, but he’s not in a box unless being focused on the almighty dollar is his box.
