Who is more apt to blame "The Jews" for the financial crisis?

Thanks to Small Dead Animals and researchers at Columbia and Stanford, we now know:

Democrats were especially prone to blaming Jews: while 32 percent of Democrats accorded at least moderate blame, only 18.4 percent of Republicans did so (a statistically significant difference). This difference is somewhat surprising given the presumed higher degree of racial tolerance among liberals and the fact that Jews are a central part of the Democratic Party's electoral coalition.

Does this surprise anyone?

It never fails to ghast my flabber that people blame a spread out population of less than 2/10 of 1% of the world population for their troubles. If anything, God looks over the earth for His people and are in a sense part of our protection, not affliction. Getting right with God would go a long way to solving most of our problems.
