Kirk doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell anyway, not with that independent having joined the race. What was a competitive seat will go to the dems easily, now.
I received an email from the Kirk campaign this morning. I didn’t really read it but dumped it. It began, however, mentioning the hit he’s taking by those salacious attacks on his military service. That was enough for me. TRASH!
isn’t he leading? Or was that the Gov race?
Ummm...isn’t this what the primaries are for? If the Republicans of Illinois wanted a conservative why didn’t they nominate one? Why attack the GOP candidate in the general? I’ll grant you that this guy looks like a typical liberal but as long as Chicago is in Illinois what can you expect?
*IL Politics Ping*
Here’s the call: Time for Kirk to step aside.
Now, if folks can convince Castle and Crist and Fiorina to bow out too for a conservative as TEA Party momentum builds. .. but that wouldn’t be the ‘moderate’ thing to do, would it ;-?
Give ‘em Hell where ya can when ya can..
Giddyup!
Kirk should drop out right after Blumenthal.
Kirk and the scumbag Illinois GOP must not be rewarded. I hope the rat - - whoever it is - - creams him so somebody decent can step up in six years. Kirk is a Jeffords/Chafee/Specter waiting to happen. I’d rather be knifed in the face than stabbed in the back.
Thanks for dragging that decrepit skeleton out of the closet and letting it fester there.
I think the odds of Kirk "dropping out" because you disapprove of him is about 0.000000 %
I think I read a piece the other day stating that Kirk is a closet Gay. Is there any truth in that charge???????
