A column written by Rick Moran, a conservative, about Obama’s incompetence is expected. When I see one written by Al Hunt or E.J. Dionne then I’ll know we are getting someplace...

As far as I’m concerned, that myth died the day he picked Joe Biden as his running mate. Really, Barry? Really? I hate the Dems and I could have done better than that.

I think few of us on this forum ever believed Obama was competent, so we are not surprised.

Many nations have come to ruin once an incompetent, corrupt, leader came into power. The difference for us is the founding father’s were wise enough to give us a “reset” button.

November will be the first opportunity to begin limiting the damage this man has done. Two years beyound that, we can vote him out of office.

I do not buy into the idea he will try to make himself “President for Life”, the American People will not allow it nor do I believe our military (who takes an oath to the Consitution, not an office) would allow it.

President Obama is not doing the damage he is doing in isolation. A lot of groundwork was laid for us to get to this point.

Our educational system that became more interested in teaching “multiculutralism” than civics.

Our mass media that mocks conservatives and praises liberals.

The Democrat Party that has been completely taken over by the left.

Unions (mostly the leadership) that have also been taken over by the left.

Enviromentalist that for 40 years have been trying to cripple or kill our economy in the name of enviroment.

“The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,
But in ourselves, that we are underlings.” (William Shakespere)

Last on the list is the American people themselves. When something did not affect them directly they just went along to get along. An example, when the Federal Government first went after tobacco many were pleased. They missed the point that the Federal Government really had no business determining if you should smoke or not. This was the camel’s nose into the tent. It went from banning advertisement to creating volunteering no smoking zones, to mandating no smoking in public and in some cases private areas.

When the ACLU first went after Christmas in the public square the American people rolled over like puppies. Now it is to the point they are willing to harrass children wearing crosses in school (in the name of separation of church and state, while at the same time making accomodations to muslims).

There are many that wanted to change American and most of us sat back and allowed it. The good news is they picked the wrong man (Obama) to lead us into Socialism, and that they moved too fast.

I have no idea where we are going to end up, what I do believ is that we are not going to end up where they would like us to be.

The American President wears two hats: head of state (like the Queen) and chief of government (like the Prime Minister.) Zero loves the first hat, all the ceremony, perquisites, and sparkle. He is helpless when faced with actually running the government.

We have probably never had a more incompetent President.

The one thing that Obama could have done (that I’ve heard about) is give the permits for Jindahl to put up barrier islands. He didn’t do it.

The only thing this incompetent boob throws at a problem is blame. The money is thrown at his cronies. This regime is despicable.

I don’t think Bush was responsible for Katrina nor do I think Obama is responsible for the oil spill response, although a comparison of the interest and involvement of the two men in the event clearly favors Bush.

But that is irrelevant. If liberals are going to tout big gov as the solution to every problem known to man and blame GOP officials when the problem is either not prevented or not solved in one day, then turn about is fair play. Even more so, because being the liberal’s darling, Obama was held up as the Messiah who would heal the earth and calm the seas. Okay, libs, why isn’t he fixing this - TODAY?!

And if you’re going to blame Bush for the oil spill for decisions made BEFORE the spill occurred, then to be consistent, blame Clinton and the Corps of Engineers for not building up the NO levees to withstand a Cat 5 hurricane.
The game is so much fun for libs when they can nail a Republican, but not so delightful when their guy is in charge.

After what they did to Bush over Katrina, they deserve to get it back twice as hard over this. That was unconscionable.

“Barky was an assistant scooper at a Baskin Robbins in Hawaii. “

For a few weeks.(He was probably fired)

He also called that the only time that he was “ working for the enemy”

We certainly see very few pictures of him on the golf course...or anywhere for that matter....unless they are to be published.

Wereen't some media folks denied access when he was in Louisianna...

Unconscionable Incompetence

Couldn't have described the Obama Administration more succinctly than that.
