Not just any Democratic Senate candidate, either. Its Richard Blumenthal, current attorney general of Connecticut, whom Chris Dodd made way for by retiring earlier this year. Hes been leading all Republican challengers by upwards of 20 points in the polls and was considered a mortal lock to win the seat in November. Until now.... Here is hoping for a huge fall.

Liar! This guy always seemed fake to me. I heard him speak at a deployment ceremony for Ct National guard troopers going to Iraq and Afghanistan. He compulsively mentioned his own service in the speech and it just did not ring true. Fake, phony, fraud!

Lawyer “Dick” is a big phony. When I heard him speak at the deployment ceremony for CTNG troops headed to Iraq and Afghanistan, his mention of his own “service” did not ring true. Something about him set off the BS detector a little more than the usual Democrat does. This lie should cause him big problems in November. I’ll definitely shout his calumny from the rooftops.

Our son, Corporal USMC, due for discharge on May 8, 2010 asked to extend so he could deploy to Afghanistan with his battalion which is slated to deploy in about July for six months. His request was denied for two reasons, he would have had to reup for a full year in order to deploy, and his right kidney had ceased to function and needed to be removed. He just wanted to be there with the people he had trained with and led and could not do so. He’s already done a tour in Iraq. When we visit Camp LeJeune and see those fine young warriors there or see others in our daily lives, we know that the actions of liars like Blumenthal somehow diminish what the real warriors represent. Shame on Blumenthal. God bless our real warriors and their families.

Interesting timing.
Just this week Connecticut was in the news.
Hm. Trying to think. Something about an alleged Social Security Number...
Coincidence?

I'm always suspicious of anyone that constantly brings up his service. When I'm at the American Legion bar or around a bunch of Marines, of course we tell sea stories, but I never do when I'm around the company of others.
I was at our Legion bar with a bunch of Marine buddies once and we were telling sea stories of course. This guy comes over and starts to strike up a conversation with us. He claims to have been a Marine and served in Viet Nam and done all this top secret stuff. My bull$h#@$@#$ senses went up. Come to find out, he's a social member of the Legion. We asked him why. He doesn't have a DD-214 because he was in such top secret stuff. That's total bull!! Anyone that joins and is discharged has to get a DD-214.
It was just so insulting that he would try to push that jive past us. Especially since he was trying to push it past combat veterans.

No, if anything it enhances what the real warriors represent.
