Come and get the Twinkies — over my dead body. And get your fat-butted Marie Antoinette-ish wife to butt out too.

Here’s a thought for Zero and Ms. Zero.

For him:
How about leading by example and giving up your smokes?

For her:
How about keeping your nose out of my business and worry about your smokestack of a husband and your (self-admitted) chubby kids?

Put Phys Ed back into school and give every child a work out everyday.

Even if the two of them were leading a healthy lifestyle, how dare they tell me what to eat and what to do?

*Unladylike spit!*

And let it be some REAL physical education — not just the occasional dodgeball tournament.

Actually, even phys ed is something people should do on their own. Where are the parents to get the kids off their butts and getting some exercise?

To solve a problem you have to have reasonable knowledge of its cause.

In this case, I have my doubts that these folks do. I say this because when I was a kid, we ate much of the same stuff (or something similar) and almost no one was fat.

Actually we rarely ate out, fast food or otherwise. Soda pop was a rare treat. There were no video games, and we played all day after school until our moms called us home for dinner. In fact our moms wouldn’t let us stay indoors on nice weather days. Go out and play!

Somewhere, somehow, I think my elementary school gym teacher, Matilda Jenski
is smiling.
