Obama Laughs At Arizona

President Obama, speaking at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on May 01, took the opportunity to joke about the illegal alien problem in Arizona. Apparently he thinks the whole situation is worth joking about. As I see it, the big joke is not the Arizona situation, but rather this administration’s failure to address the issue and enforce the laws of the United States. While our Attorney General is busy grandstanding and planning on trials for terrorists in New York, he looks the other way at the problem of illegal immigration. The President is quoted as saying, “What happens in Arizona when you don't have ID? Adios amigos!”

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer is fighting back with this video she produced, showing some of the crime statistics that Arizona must deal with because of the federal government’s failure to do so. Take a look:

Obama is laughing because he thinks he has found the solution to the dire prospects the Democrats were facing after the health care vote. He, his minions, and the media will pound on the idea that Republicans are racists from now to November in order to fire up the Democratic base. He thinks that will counteract the boost the Republican candidates will get from the public anger over ObamaCare, the deficits, Obama’s incompetence and anti-Americanism and all the rest.

I don't think we'll be seeing Barry in Arizona anytime soon. McCain is going to be SOL when it comes to getting Barry to come here to campaign for him.

Those around Obama still think that SNARK will win the day.

Is anyone else getting tired of snarkiness? Does snark butter any parsnips?

He was just doing the imitation of Jon Stewart who "everyone" thinks will get them a seat at the Cool Table.

Has a president ever so mockingly criticized a state’s decision like this before? Don’t states have rights? Why isn’t he trying to help the situation? It is the government’s job to protect our borders.

Arizonans are being murdured and kidnapped, and Arizona has a right and an obligation to try to protect its citizens...especially when the federal government fails to do so.

And Barry Sotero thinks it is a joke.

I don’t ever remember any president showing such open contempt for the citizens of this country like Obama does. The guy just despises ordinary, middle class, patriotic americans. He sees them as obstacles to be over come.

He is a complete disgrace, far worse than I though he would be. And hey, I KNEW he was a racist Marxist, but I’m still surprised at his naked displays of sneering disdain for anyone who disagrees with him, and even of people, like PM Gordon Brown, who probably DON’T disagree with him.

I honestly think Obama aspires to be Hugo Chavez with better clothes.

Brewer to Obama: No One in Arizona is Laughing

Brewer to Obama: No One in Arizona is Laughing President fails to secure border, opts for jokes instead

PHOENIX –– Governor Jan Brewer sparked a renewed national focus on border security and illegal immigration when she signed SB1070. While Brewer has been celebrated by many for taking action to enforce laws that Washington has long ignored, those who oppose the law have chosen pithy punch lines over responsible and pragmatic action. Far away from the border at the White House Correspondents Dinner, President Obama decided that Arizona’s unsecured borders and illegal immigration crisis are a laughing matter. Unfortunately, no one in Arizona is laughing. Watch the latest video below:

In December 2008, the U.S. Justice Department said that Mexican gangs are the "biggest organized crime threat to the United States." In 2009, Phoenix had 316 kidnapping cases, turning the city into our nation's kidnapping capital. Almost all of the persons kidnapped were illegal immigrants or linked to the drug trade.

“The very same week that Governor Brewer signed SB 1070, a major drug ring was broken up and Mexican cartel operatives suspected of running 40,000 pounds of marijuana through southern Arizona were indicted. A week later, a local deputy sheriff was assaulted by suspected drug smugglers carrying an automatic weapon,” said campaign spokesman Doug Cole. “The drug trafficking and border violence is out of control in Arizona and demands serious attention. President Obama and Congress ignored several requests from Governor Brewer for help in securing the border. Instead of helping, President Obama chooses to crack jokes to an adoring crowd. Mr. President, this is not a laughing matter.”

All of my purchases now come from AZ. They have the will to protect themselves. Odingo’s third world charm isn’t cutting it.
