Arizonans controlled their frustration so long as they believed that the federal government had merely dropped the ball on immigration. But they felt compelled to act when they came to suspect that the feds were actually carrying the ball toward the other teams goal. A nation that fails to control its borders is not a real nation, but merely a geographical area where diverse people speaking a multiplicity of languages mill about, pursuing conflicting goals − until the whole unstable structure collapses into a multicultural, multilingual, multilateral mess. Eventually we may come to understand that E Pluribus Unum is not compatible with words beginning with multi.

That would create an atmosphere where citizens, foreign workers, students and new immigrants could share a great deal of basic mutual trust in each other. All the fears associated with illegal entry, on both sides, would cease to rationally exist.
Important read - sets the record straight. Thanks for the post and information!
Arizona has done what America COULD NOT!
You got that right. But don’t hold your breath. You assume that those in charge WANT to increase mutual trust. As a lawyer might object in court, you are assuming something not in evidence.
Should all of the illegals present today suddenly gain citizenship, or even a nominal legal status, much of the political advantages to both parties would dissipate. Especially for Republicans. Every advantage that comes with employing illegals would be gone just like that. Those that employ them would drop them like hot rocks and look for a new crop of illegal aliens.
Great article. You really nail the liberal double standard on “race.” It’s totally dependent on their political needs of the day.
Looks like Rev. Als big show here toight was a lot of bluster and not a lot else, maybe 2000 showed up, according to a reporter on CH12 Phoenix, this crowd was nothing compared to the much less hyped crowd that was out this weekend.. looks like Al went to a local black church and then marched with the members and local politicians.
How long have you been seeing a psychiatrist? If you haven’t been you should. LOL
Ping!
If it talks like a lib, and walks like a lib...
I disagree — Arizona has done what America COULD WOULD NOT!
Just saw a clip on Fox & Friends. What an irrelevant racist blowhard camera hog. In the pulpit in a black church with the robed choir behind him he says,”I want to say to my black friends who don’t think this is our fight, after dark we all look Mexican”. Crowd roars. What?? Somehow I get the feeling the people wearing “I ain’t gonna hide no more” tshirts aren’t going to be impressed by Reverend Al.
Al’s industry is the Protest Industry. He protests for a living between buffets and hair treatments. The more attention he gets the more contributions he receives. He’s onboard if anyone protests for de la asistencia social.
Well, since the law they passed mirrors the federal law I disagree. Now if AZ were to declare illegal immigrants to be invaders, and both authorize and respond with deadly force THEN it would be doing what America would not.
Great article, thanks for alerting me.
