Here is video of Fox News' Megyn Kelly talking with Tony Perkins, of the Family Research Council, about the revocation of invitations to both Franklin Graham and Tony Perkins to speak at Prayer Events on Military bases. Perkins is a minister and has served as a Marine.
Perkins was disinvited to speak at Andrews Air Force Base in February two days after he spoke out against President Obama's decision to push for getting rid of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." Graham was disinvited when some Muslim members of the military supposedly complained about past comments that Islam is an "evil religion," which results in the terror attacks being carried out against the United States.
Perkins believes the recension of invitations is more politically motivated than due to religious reasons.
Somehow I doubt that conservative Christian members of the military complaining about a liberal minister, or a Muslim cleric speaking at a military event would elicit such an investigation on the part of the military. It appears to be open season on Conservative Christians in America. They are the one group that it is politically correct to attack, mock, and discriminate against in our society today.

Christian ministers should start a boycott of the military en mass.

Anyone but Christians. The future of America.

Perkins believes the recension of invitations is more politically motivatedHard to separate the two when the real reason for the recension is that Christianity offends Muslim sensibilities (gay ones, too, but that's not Obama's focus).
Since Islam is both a religious and a political movement and the two aspects are inextricably intertwined, we'll never know the answer (not that it matters).
What is curious here is that Perkins is unaware of the above issue...hence his naive comment.

That's ridiculous. We are a military family and born again Christians.

"Perkins believes the recension of invitations is more politically motivated than due to religious reasons."
EVERYTHING is subordinate to politics. No epiphany here.

Since Islam is both a religious and a political movement
Islam is also intrinsically intolerant of other's personal behavior and views and is commanded to kill you for them and continue to do so randomly even if you give them rule just to assert their superiority. So-called Christians have also done all that for 2000 years, but in direct contravention of Christ's teachings.
Islam must be destroyed. It should have been rooted out of the military, out of America and swept from Morocco to Indonesia after 9/11 because intolerance can only be met with intolerance or you will lose. And this has nothing to do with Christianity. This is survival.
