Will SEIU socialism survive Stern stepdown?

The shock stepdown by long time SEIU president Andy Stern has raised eyebrows across the US political spectrum. Andystern

Andy Stern

While Stern has been the face of SEIU for years, it is unlikely that his resignation will affect the direction of America’s most politically powerful labor union.

SEIU’s positions on immigration reform, healthcare “reform”, labor legislation, worker pensions and support for Obama and the Democratic Party usually reflect the policy’s of the U.S.’s largest Marxist organization, Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) .

Stern himself trained at the DSA controlled Midwest Academy in Chicago.

Why do I doubt that a man who has visited the White House 20 times in the last year is simply “stepping down?”

No doubt he is moving upwards in the Obama cabal and he has his lackeys in place behind him.

Ambition doesn't just stop and say, "That's enough .. I'm satisfied"

Usually ambition is overtaken by a similar drive, though oftimes more powerful and insidious ... greed.

Your right, this man isn’t retiring, he’ll be taking on a job that will give him more power. Who is the head of the IRS?

SEIU took out loans of 90M to get Obama elected and none of them have been paid off.

I suspect Andy is doing what Rathke did, finding other places of influence before the Feds clamp the cuffs on him.

I am not sure what reason Stern is giving for stepping down, but my guess as to the real reason is two fold. I believe that Stern has become a lightening rod for criticism of his strong arm tactics and that reflects badly on Obama (plus Stern is White). Second, I believe that Stern feels that he has accomplished his goals in eclipsing the AFL unions in the US and is moving on to the International level.

The plan is to create a worldwide SEIU to cover the poor in Africa and South America (and probably Palestine) whose health care and pensions will be supported with US dollars.

It’s not unethical, it is antithetical to the constitutional principles of this country. The man is a communist, who believes in a one world communist government. Obama and the Clintons are as well.

Sidney Blumenthal once laid out the whole premise in a very long editorial that appeared in the Seattle Times. It took up more than two whole pages of the newspaper. One interesting feature of the plan that we don’t hear about very often is that it includes a one world religion, that would include parts of all the world religions and not offend anyone.

Geez, I just figured out what Obama’s real religion is when I made that last statement. Obama can claim to be a Christian and a Muslim at the same time, because he believes in this amalgamated one world religion that offends no one. It’s a religion that is similar to an alternative college, where you write your own curriculum that adds up to nothing more than a personal goal or standard of achievement. The amalgamated religion is moral relativity taken to its highest form.

Stepping down has nothing at all to do with control of SEIU. Putin still pulls the strings in Russia and there are plenty of other examples of socialists “stepping down” as good political theatre.
