Sorry. I gotta say this is just rude interviewing.

Look, Franken is a fool and I have no respect for his brand of politics. But if he says politely "Let me answer that", the interviewer cannot then say "I'm listening" and then immediately launch into a boring and repetitive recapsulation of the question.

The interviewer did this non-stop. I would have walked away sooner than Franken did.

I completely agree. The interviewer was ridiculous and rude. He didn't want answers, he was performing bad theater.

Franken is an dirtbag and a moron, but he looked relatively composed by comparison to the guy with the questions.

Re-watch - Al Franken didn’t allow the man to finish his question before HE began to interrupt him. Al Franken, and his henchmen became rude first.
