Thanks for your kind rebuttal. Everything you have written is true. I consider myself a member of the religious right, and further, believe that the only salvation is through Jesus Christ. His love motivates me to want to carry out his plan. But it is Him working through me, not me doing his work.

The article, by insinuating there is something incorrect with the religious right, peaked my interest. My reading of the article left me with my questions unanswered.

I do agree that the focus is to be on eternal salvation, not an earthly kingdom. Man does not have to make earth perfect for Christ's return, and that is a good thing.
