Okay let’s examine that— he just handed them 50 million new customers to collect premiums from — without any obligation for them to use those premiums to pay for health care. Now, it is true that money will be captured by government to pay for enlightening our kids in the gubmint schools etc but really this hasn’t anything to do with insurance. The insurance companies are just another big bank or big car industry to him and he wants to own them and dictate to them. And they agreed he could in exchange for short term profits of collecting new premiums from the “50 million uninsured,” a totally phony number as they will soon find out!

The poor won't have to pay for it. Meanwhile, because of tax hikes on those who are well to do, business will slow down even more. That will adversely affect the poor, especially with where this vacuous economy is heading.
