Opponents of H.R. 3590 (Health Care Reform Bill) have focused primarily on its large tax increases, steep Medicare cuts, and its heavy interference in the doctor-patient relationship. Perhaps, far more attention should be paid to the Democrats’ plans to give massive new powers to that most beloved of American institutions, the Internal Revenue Service.
To execute their new mandates the IRS will need to collect an additional10 billion dollars in taxes over the next 10 years. Moreover, upon whom will the taxes needed to pay for all this fall? President Obama promised that he would not sign a Health Care Reform bill that raised taxes on those making less than at least $200,000 a year. Nearly half of all these new mandated taxes on individuals will be paid by Americans earning on average less than $66,150!

Only a democrat/socialist would say, “we need to improve health care, let’s get the IRS involved.”

Look for:
*a Federal tax on private health insurance premiums, to be collected by insurance carriers.
*removal of the tax deduction for excessive medical expense and the cost of health insurance for the self-employed.
*more accounting & regulations on medical service providers requiring them to hire FEDERAL compliance watchdogs.
