I’ve done something similar lots of time - but you do need a bit of chili in there (fresh, cut into thin slices) - also, I would use extra virgin olive oil instead of butter.
They forgot capers, black olives, and crushed red peppers. Maybe a few shavings of fresh parmesan cheese on top.
What can you substitute the shrimp with that is kosher that would taste good?
MMMM sounds great...I love just about anything Pasta.... Sounds like one of my favorite recipes...I use some white wine also...(in the cooking as well as in me while cooking) LOL
Shrimp in Garlic Butter (Shrimp alla Griglia)
2 pounds fresh shelled shrimp, cleaned
4 ounces unsalted butter
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/4 cup finely chopped shallots
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons salt
4 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
Rinse the shrimp and let dry on paper towels. Preheat the broiler. Place the shrimp in one layer in a large heat proof baking dish.
In a small saucepan, heat the butter until it melts. Stir in the olive oil, lemon juice, shallots, garlic, and salt. Pour mixture over shrimp and broil for 5 minutes. Turn shrimp over and repeat; shrimp should turn pink when cooked. Do not overcook. To serve, sprinkle on parsley.

You took the words out of my mouth- olive oil—definitely!!!
A little dry vermouth, a few shakes of dried red pepper flakes, & the obligatory shavings of parmesan or pamigiano regiano. MMMMMMMMMMMM........
is that crushed red pepper seeds? or do you mean to crush the red pepper itself? smashed?
Yummmm, capers. And marinated artichoke hearts.

I’m not up on what is kosher or not - but a red snapper would definitely taste terrific done in a similar way.
And there’s always Salmon - is that kosher?
The Rabbi says salmon is kosher.
