Is anybody in the White House listening? American Voters don't think so. The latest installment of the Rasmussen tracking poll reports that President Obama's approval index has sunk back down to its lowest level ever -21. Just nine days ago on March first that index was at -12.
Only 22% of Americans strongly approve of the way Obama is handling the presidency 43% strongly disapprove and the numbers are only that positive because amongst the Democrats 42% of Democrats strongly approve (72% of Republicans strongly disapprove). The real danger for Obama is that independents are at a -28, 17% strongly approve and 45% strongly disapprove. Independents are the block that will make or break any political campaign.

I think most people living in this country have finally figured out that they and their families cannot eat “free” healthcare or “carbon credits”. The ‘RAT tactic of putting people out of work was not a very smart way of making the “unwashed masses” dependent upon the government. Stupid move ‘RATS.

He knows it will kill the American economy and destroy our medical care system. In concert, he ignores the recession and reducing unemployment. Obama's obsession with "healthcare" is distressing, but also revealing. It should be clear to most people by now that Obama was hand selected by somebody for the sole purpose of using him as the instrument that would drive government healthcare, and other social(ist) programs through the Senate. He has all the credentials to do this. He's black, so they can attack as 'racist' anyone who opposes him. He's a minority, so he has great unifying appeal to blacks, hispanics, illegal aliens, and all others who think of themselves as having been wronged by traditional American policies. He detests capitalism, even though he will take full personal advantage of it for himself. He's a criminal stooge from Chicago who knows the 'game', and he hates America enough to do the bidding of anyone who will work to take it down and remake it.
Notice that Obama cannot articulate the 'how' and 'why' of healthcare, he cannot write a bill himself. He knows nothing of how to get things done, he's just really good at speaking in generalities so people can fill in the gaps with their own feelings. I don't know what all this means, other than he's not leading all this government takeover stuff, he's just a stooge tool for somebody else.
BINGO !!! I have seen Pelosi-Care and Reid-Care, but I have yet to see Obama-Care. He has been in office for over a year now, but he has yet to submit a healthcare bill to Congress. Besides being the worst President America has had, he will also go down in history as the laziest President America has ever had.
Usually people call someone insane as a way to say whatever they are doing isn’t their fault, no sane person would do what they are doing.
He’s doing it on purpose, it is his fault, he’s not insane. He’s a very, very angry and evil person.
Angry and evil people do things that regular people would never consider doing. If some people think they’re insane, they don’t care, in the ned they’ve been duped by them as well.
The very fact we’re sitting around discussing presidents and bills. Generally presidents do not write bills. That is a legislative branch function.
I would prefer it that none of the presidents attempt to write their own bills. Instead tehy would talk with their good reliable counterparts in the senate and house as to what they’d like to see or feel is needed and have these people be the ones that draft the legislation.
Jobs and economy is what everyone is concerned with, however, Obama is ramming welfare down everyones throat. Remember the State of the Union speech where he said that jobs would be his #1 priority. That last all of half a week.
I could not disagree more. Policy should be directed by the Executive Branch - not the Legislative Branch. Legislators know nothing about management and leadership. (See: Barack Obama). Presidents have no counterparts in the House and Senate. Legislators can always abstain from action. They can always have a do-over if their actions come under fire. Presidents do not have that luxury.
I think you misunderstand. Yes the president comes in with an agenda, and what we’ve seen with Reagans and such is that he’s got key people in the senate and house they work with to create legislation and get it through both chambers. Not necessarily already having the entire thing written and then just saying ‘pass this’. The executive doesn’t get to be the legislative branch. They have to work together. It also gets the needed ‘buy in’ from key people in the legislature to push for it for the president.
