Over the past several years it has been reported that “medical mistakes” kill more Americans every six months than the number of Americans that died in the entire course of the Vietnam War. Medical error is the fifth leading cause of death in this country.

An interesting article. Unfortunately, over the past decade or so I have had significant exposure to both doctors and lawyers. The thing that always gets left out in these discussions is that much of the time death by medical errors has little to do with doctors, but just plain bad care by health care employees. This can include the nurses, the aides, the techs, and even the clerical help.
