Any word on WHERE in GA?
My house. I have to give up half the garage. I hope I can use some of that $8,000,000,000 to paint. Wife is gonna be upset when all the regulators and inspectors start showing up at all hours.
Google news search confirms my fuzzy recolection that they are adding another unit to Vogtle (I always thought it was Vogle) in Burke County. Just off the Savannah River, and, directly across from the Bomb plant.
Guys. You’ll have to excuse me for the late reply here. I’m here in Australia. I posted the original post at 1AM my time, and have only got back here now at around 9AM my time.
These two new reactors are Units 3 and 5 for the existing Plant Vogtle Power plant in Waynesboro in Burke County (in Central Eastern) Georgia. Work has already commenced.
That should read Units 3 and 4. My apologies.
