Unreal: Top Yahoo Headline- “Analysis: How Global Warming Makes Blizzards Worse”

They just won’t let it go…

Washington DC is closed down again. The latest snowstorm shatters local records in Chicago. Baltimore hit a snow record! Big cities are shut down.

After Climategate, Glaciergate, Amazongate and the cold hard facts on the ground it’s become obvious that manmade global warming is a scam.

But the leftists just can’t face reality…

The former news magazine known as TIME claimed today that “Global Warming Makes Blizzards Worse.”

---As the blizzard-bound residents of the mid-Atlantic region get ready to dig themselves out of the third major storm of the season, they may stop to wonder two things: Why haven’t we bothered to invest in a snow blower and, also, what happened to climate change? After all, it stands to reason that if the world is getting warmer – and the past decade was the hottest on record – major snowstorms should become a thing of the past, like Palm Pilots and majority rule in the Senate. Certainly that’s what the Virginia state Republican Party thinks: the GOP aired an ad last weekend attacking two Democratic Congressmen for supporting the 2009 carbon-cap-and-trade bill, and using the recent storms to cast doubt on global warming.

Brace yourselves now – this may be a case of politicians twisting the facts. There is some evidence that climate change could in fact make such massive snowstorms more common, even as the world continues to warm. As the meteorologist Jeff Masters points out in his excellent blog at Weather Underground, the two major storms that hit Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C., this winter – in December and during the first weekend of February – are already among the 10 heaviest snowfalls those cities have ever recorded. The chance of that happening in the same winter is incredibly unlikely.---

Unreal. These delusional statists will never stop.

Well, if they can get a majority of Americans to believe that snow, ice storms and blizzards actually translate to global warming, then perhaps Americans deserve what they will get from these charlatans in the near future.

AGWT is extremely robust with respect to data. All observations confirm it at the 100% confidence level.

It also predicts all things.

I'll take a guess aT finishing the last sentence:

"The chance of that happening in the same winter is incredibly unlikely and since we KNOW that GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL then, by the simple process of elimination, scientists have shown that there is a clear, possible, it could happen, we suspect, until proven otherwise, undoubted, nearly certain likelihood that GLOBAL WARMING HAS CAUSED OUR RECORD BREAKING WINTER."

It's just science in action.

What I’m waiting to see is when the snow doesn’t completely melt in the areas around ND, MN, WI, and MI and a glacier starts to form. How will they explain that one? Are they going to say that AGW causes glaciers to form and also to grow?

Global warming threatens ski resorts

Hundreds of ski resorts will go out of business because of global warming, according to research published by the United Nations Environment Program on Tuesday. In the coming decades, the report says, rising temperatures will steadily push the snowline up to higher altitudes - leaving many resorts below without reliable piste.

They have predicted pretty much everything, even dozens of contradictory things, with global warming, so anything that happens supposedly fits their model. Unfortunately for them, a theory that explains everything usually explains nothing.

Just seems to me that if the Earth is warming to a disastrous degree, you can’t continue to have extreme Winters. But I’m sure I’m too dumb to understand how the climate can be warming and cooling at the same time.

I have a thought that just maybe it gets hot in Summer and cold in Winter.

If Global Warming causes cold weather, then how can it possibly be measured?

“They have predicted pretty much everything,....”

Well, no, they haven’t predicted anything good. Ever look at a map of Canada and how no one lives in most of it because of the cold? Imagine all the crops, the people that could live there, the flowing rivers of fresh water if it really got warmer.

The left out one very important fact. If global warming is for real, not the BS most of believe it to be, it technically should SNOW MORE at HIGHER ALTITUDES....not at sea level!

Up is down. Black is white. In is out. Wow. I must be so stupid and the “warmers” are intellectually superior to notice all these “scientific” nuances. I just I was as smart and wonderful as they are.

They mention good stuff, but their sour world view doesn't let them see it. For example, whenever they complain about the Arctic ice melting, I always think about how much that would improve shipping.

Yep, another year round port deep into the continent on Hudson bay would probably be a good thing.

Man o’pete that global warming is something isn’t it!? Causes snow, causes icecaps to melt, causes hurricanes, causes sea rising, causes sea levels to fall, causes glaciers to disappear....really would be unbelievable if we didn’t know it was true thanks to a bunch of agenda driven scientist who cooked the books to show us it was true. Yes sirree!

They had a better horse to ride with “super-duper” hurricane Katrina ushering in an era of super storms— 5 years, no signs of it.
