That said, Anderson Cooper deserves credit for what he did. He's a good guy.

I hope the kid well, but I will have a hard time having respect ever again for Cooper after his “teabag” comment.
Good for AC to help the kid. As far as the rest goes, who cares what France or the un says, let our boys handle it and the job will be done right!
Sad and powerful stuff, but I don’t see our help, or the rest of the worlds help fixing that place. After the WW2 the Marshall plan helped restore broken nations that had a industrial/technical tradition to rebuild upon. These poor folks have nothing but government corruption.
I just read that the number of orphaned children in Haiti was around 380,000 before the earthquake. WT?
I belive that the LORD is working on him.
My brother and his family spent many summers helping out at an orphanage in Honduras. He mentioned once in a phone call after he had been down there a few times that “One of the boys we really got to know and love got a card from his mom and dad - so that was pretty cool to be there when that happened.”
I went “HUH!!!????”
It seems that in Honduras, and perhaps other countries - perhaps Haiti - there will be families, some still with kids, that have other kids out on the street or in an orphanage. I couldn’t believe it! I can’t imagine being a child knowing that my parents kept some kids but not me.
Oh, that one boy - my brother took him under his wing to a degree. Kept in touch with him over the years, paid for his University and some other things. The kid even changed his last name to our last name! So - if you ever run across a guy with a Latin American first name and a Norwegian last name - that would be the guy!
Very neat story. Did he stay in Honduras or move to another country?
I am waiting for the Obama administration to announce some really lame program of trading machetes in for basketballs. This would be a real cool political move for Obama. Sounds like something his brain trust would come up with.
It was interesting watching the process. At first he simply dragged the boy away. Then he kept him at arm’s length.
Then he just put that camera or mike down and picked up that profusely bleeding child.
Yes, there was something divine working in Anderson’s heart.
It surely touched me to watch that video.
