TO OBAMA, AL-QAEDA IS A PESKY DISTRACTION FROM HIS RADICAL AGENDA
The Cypress Times ^ | 1/5/10 | Katharine DeBrecht

At the Congressional Black Caucus Democratic debate on January 21, 2008, then candidate Obama stated “We are seeing Al-Qaeda stronger now than any time since 2001. That is a significant threat that has to be dealt with. Because we have been distracted, we have ended up seeing a more dangerous situation.”

To answer the question at the end of the article, Obama clearly views the American citizen as a greater threat than Al Qaeda.

Agreed. His goal is the same, destroy America and the Constitution. That’s why he’ll profile citizens as ‘militia’, and do everything to strip their rights, but won’t go after Al Qaeda. Those loony desert people are just slowing him down.

"After the Christmas Day failed attack on Northwest flight 253, the President, who normally cannot seem to get enough TV time, waited 3 days (much longer than the few minutes Bush read My Pet Goat on 9/11) before showing up to address the American people in between golf games. The tieless Vacationer-in-Chief went on to describe how the bomber “allegedly” attempted to kill more than 300 people, flippantly dubbing him an “isolated extremist.”

I believe the author's premise that BO wants to impose his 'Peoples Republic' on us more than he wants us to prosper or be safe. He and those who support him are domestic enemies of our country and our way of life. There's no other way to see it. Frankly, I'm beginning to think perhaps Al-Qaeda is a distraction from resisting those bastards.

Barry sees Dick Cheney as a bigger threat than AQ.

Sarah Jessica Parker: President Obama Disappoints

In a recent interview with the Daily Beast, Sarah Jessica Parker shared some of her conflicted feelings about President Obama.

The Dem actress revealed that her son James Wilkie had “expressed pride in Obama” but had also expressed to her “that he is unhappy at how much Obama is on television.”

Guess even a 6-year-old has a feel for the term “overexposed.”

“I refuse to lose hope in Obama,” Parker said. “Although healthcare is the biggest concern for me. I will be so blue if I lose hope in this man. I’m not a Pollyanna but I can’t abandon Obama at this early stage.”

Still, the actress took note of a presidential promise that was broken.

“The thing that I was hoping for was transparency in the healthcare debate because that’s the promise he made to me personally. That has disappointed me,” she said, expressing the disillusionment that so many Americans feel.

Of course, she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to launch on the left’s current whipping boy.

“As for Joe Lieberman’s role in the healthcare process . . . well, I just don’t understand it. James Wilkie is more mature than Joe Lieberman is. Lieberman has behaved like a petulant child,” Parker cracked.

Angelina Jolie Takes President Obama to Task on Darfur

Angelina Jolie is apparently among those Americans becoming disillusioned with President Obama.

The actress wrote a message to the president that appeared in Newsweek, which questions the lack of action taken by the Obama administration with respect to the horror occurring in the Darfur region.

Jolie insists on greater action against Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and other government officials responsible for the blatant violations of human rights in the country.

“Like many Americans, I support the administration’s willingness to engage diplomatically, even with regimes we abhor. And I believe President Obama and his special envoy Scott Gration will do their best to bring peace to the region,” Jolie wrote.

“Their policy, though, raises a number of questions. How is the Obama administration’s approach to Sudan an evolution of justice? In addition, when the administration says it intends to work to ‘improve the lives of the people of Darfur,’ I would like to know what that means, besides the obvious point that their lives could hardly get worse,” she said.

Evidently, even some residents of Malibu are finding it hard to reconcile this administration’s words with its actions.

“And what will be the precedent set for future leaders?” Jolie asked. “Will they end up receiving high-level international attention, and remain free to pocket financial assistance and aid relief pouring into their country? Is there incentive for them to act with impunity or will they fear they’ll be held accountable?”

In other words is this criminal al-Bashir going to be held accountable for the mass slaughter of people in the Sudan?
