Television host, Bill Maher, recently made the statement on the Mike Huckabee Show that Christianity is a form of insanity; a neurological disorder. Maher also stated that he was not trying to outlaw religion and people could believe whatever they wanted. “If you want to believe in the spaghetti monster or the Klingons, that’s fine. I’m just trying to present a point of view that tens of millions of Americans, yes that’s right, even American’s believe. And for those of you, who say that society falls down when we stop believing, it doesn’t and we have proof of that because all of Western Europe has thrown religion in the ash heap of history.

The Cypress Times is an interesting news presenter. I wonder if it is internet only or distributed in paper form. I rather like it.

The fool has said in his heart “There is no God”.

My father was a atheist but there was one incident in his life that defied any statistical possibility that happened during his military service that he couldn't explain away and it bothered him. The result was that on his death bed he longed for a peace that still eluded him, for the doubt existed in his mind that he might of been wrong those many years in saying there was no God. I came to realize that being a atheist required a blind faith of it's own and was just as subject to doubt as a spiritual approach.

God has protected Western Europe through the U.S. military for more than a generation but that may be coming to an end. They have (kind of) afforded their socialist state because their defense spending has been so low.

Sorry Bill but Europe IS collapsing. No longer capable of defending its own culture it is falling to the barbarians within once again in a form of mass suicide.

The inevitable result of believing the lie that people are simply animals and their personalities are determined by their brain chemicals is death. Eventually all behavior will be politicized and force psychiatric drugging will become the order of the day for anyone determined “irrational” by the State.

Maher is a psychopath. He oozes hate. If anyone needs to be watched closely for signs of destructive dangerous behavior it’s hate spewing lunatics like Maher.

Seems like being an agnostic is the way to go. Just say to whoever it is that hears our thoughts and prayers...’I just don’t really know’

I think the problem for the West has been that a rejection of Christianity has nearly always led to an embrace of philosophic materialism -- that nothing is real except physical stuff. That's a mistake.

And I disagree with Bill Maher that Europe isn't collapsing. Demographically, it's been catastrophic. Families are becoming rarer. They've got nothing left to believe in and it expresses itself in a rejection of children and family.
