Search the net for the highest quality latest professional research.
There’s a lot of New Age hogwash around.
Motivation goes way down. There are health problems that various research studies still argue about.
Memory effects tend to be a problem.
Besides that, it’s teaching vulnerable youth to avoid solving problems by zoning out instead of doing the hard challenging but fulfilling work of living in an overcoming way.

I don’t think it should be done around kids. Smoking pot (or the use of any drug, legal or not) should be done by ADULTS ONLY.

Parents smoking pot with teenagers is probably one of the best ways to have your teenagers dismiss you as being worthy of respect. There's just something about trying too hard to be "down with the kids" that changes you from a parent to just another stupid adult.

I think it’s the same as a parent drinking Jack Daniels with a kid (for non-medicinal purposes.) Or leafing through Penthouse magazine with a kid.
