INTERPOL Immunity--the Story that Won't Go Away

The Obama executive order granting INTERPOL--the International Police Organization--immunity from U.S. law is a story that won't go away.

At first only a tiny group of astute bloggers sounded the alarm about the issue. But now not only has the story gone viral but the state-run media (SRM) has picked up on it.

Although he has been unable to get any answers due to White House stonewalling, ABC News' Jake Tapper has written about the order even though, unfortunately, he seems to think the biggest story coming out of it is conservative ire.

The New York Times took a similar point of view.

Aside from constitutional issues and sovereignty issues...

Some “one” is opening the door to have the “world” court walk in her to arrest “war criminals” Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and others....

IMO

Interpol has no reason to be here. We have FBI, CIA, mounds and mounds of troopers, police..... and support agencies who are all perfectly capable. This is only being set up so they can take down someone large.

William Stevenson (read A Man Called Intrepid) was allowed by FDR and J. Edgar Hoover to set up a British secret service organization in Rockefeller Center before WW II. This operation involved an extraordinary political risk and was super secret. Now out front for everyone to see an international police force is free to operate in this country and free from Constitutional restraints. Please won't anyone think of the Constitution?

It should be carried at such a fever pitch that the President is forced to go on national tv so we can see him squirm and dodge the reasons why.
