Wars are fought on both psychological and strategic battlefields. Though George Bush's responses to terror were defined in defensive and altruistic terms, at least they were military responses, fortuitously seen as angry and retaliatory by the Arab mindset.
We've been safe so long because of our soldiers' willingness to stand and shed blood, and the fact that Bush's actions actually had consequences to the whole region; the critical support for the jihad was thus stymied.
Now, here comes a return to policies that actually invite and incite attacks from an enemy that seems pathologically compelled to respond in this manner, to this particular weakness.
Americans must soon recognize that this President is making us less safe with policies that send the wrong message to our enemies.
I have never seen a US President take so much time off, so frequently, as your current pResident Obama. How much Vacation Time is he allowed to take, while still drawing his ridiculous salary?
I bet he doesn’t even fill in a timesheet.
Perhaps if you Yanks insisted that your pResident spent less time taking unauthorized vacation leave and more time attending to the business of State you might even get MORE ACTS OF TERRORISM.
This suggests an obvious strategy. Place him on 3 years of Paid Administrative Leave and allow the Adults to run the country again.

1. Obama’s FBI did not alert the ARMY that Maj Nidal Hassan was a Muslim Extremist.
2. Obama’s State Dept did nothing to revoke Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab’s VISA after Abdul’s father told the US Embassy that his son was a MUSLIM Extremist.

Are you one of those people who actually thinks the President personally manages all functions in all positions of the government ‘round the clock? That is exactly what the "Bush haters" seem to believe. You and others in this thread need to learn that incompetence permeates all facets of the government regardless of who happens to be President.
