"A Sarah Palin Primer"

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has been the subject of such vile attacks from the left that many forget that they once had praise, not vitriol, before she became John McCain’s running mate. After Palin won her election in Alaska in 2006 she was the darling of the Democrats because she bested sitting Governor Frank Murkowski. She not only beat Murkowski, she sent packing many of his pals in the Republican “corrupt bastards club.” Smiles on the faces of Democrats were seen all around. Some of Murkowski’s buddies even made their way to the penitentiary, thanks to Palin. She meant to shake up the establishment, and she certainly did. One would be hard-pressed to name a governor of any other state who swept into office on a promise of cleaning up the corruption—and then actually used the mop . . .

This explains the Dems rabid fear of her, as they realize they are in her cross-hairs. SP IS ‘dangerous’ to the corrupted.

Been watching Palin since around 95, she knows her honor with the people is what keeps her in the drivers seat; values it too. Along with promoting good government, she supported a few traditional Dem Issues (education, health care for kids, wanted to fund insolvent pension plans that were the result of corrupt Repubs, ect) but only when they were cost effective. She felt it was right thing to do, benefitted all Alaskans and was paid for with oil revenues that were at an all time high. She's the real deal alright, one of a select few politicals I would trust and the only one with enough integrity to put us back on the right track.

A couple years back, Palin tried all year to lower fuel prices across the state. Here in Alaska, we pay $5-$8 per gal for same fuel shipped to lower 48 and sold for $2-$3 per gal. The Repubs fought her tooth and nail. When they stymied all of her efforts, she announced she would give every Alaskan 1200 bucks extra that fall to offset the high prices. Repubs went nuts as they wanted the money in their own pockets. Palin wouldn't let them go home at end of session until they voted on her bill to pass out the bucks. In the end, on last day, they all voted to pass her bill. Not one of the greedy Repubs or Dems voted in opposition (political suicide). That money helped every Alaskan to offset high fuel prices at minus 60 that winter and Palin showed the corrupt politicals who run the show.

Time after time, Palin does the right thing. That's what both partys are afraid of.

Thanks for your insightful comments. I am in strong support of Sarah Palin and I just read her book, GOING ROGUE. It was great and clearly shows the Republican “machine,” to be ruthless and conniving, too. She didn’t fit the corrupt mold..Government seems to have fallen in to pit of shakedowns and money, which, of course, is as good as stolen from the American people. I know people out here are praying and I believe God will act to right this attempted takeover of our nation. ...”Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or more are gathered together in My Name, I am there in the midst of them.” — Matthew 18: 19-20”...

Discovered his rag isn't welcome on FR so maybe I shouldn't mention it but Alexander Cockburn has a long, surprising lament up.

He says the left is dead, corporations run the left and the only vibrant opposition to them comes from Christian populists who are flocking to buy Sarah Palin's book.

Being discussed on religion forums here and there. Many who fear the so-called "Christian right" are saying they cannot disagree. Some are actually saying nice things about her....amazing...
