Michael Goodwin, a Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Post columnist, wrote an article today, entitled, "Dreading Our Future." An admitted Barack Obama voter, Goodwin expresses much more than just buyer's remorse. The anger, frustration, disappointment, shock, and fear he feels is communicated very clearly. The closest Goodwin comes to paying President Obama a compliment is, "he (Obama) has become an insufferable bore."

People who resist life's call to reality/maturity do so by magnifying their fantasies of eternal childhood. It is a form of insanity that makes them vulnerable to infantile Pied Pipers like our little Barky.
I just think back on all of those, even some on the right, who poo-pooed me when I said he is a Communist and will set about the destruction of our sovereignty and our Republic.
I pointed out his associations, his church, his teachers, his lack of private sector experience, his lack of political experience, his narcissism.
They yelled: “Guilt by association!” I said: Is there a better way to judge a man than by his past and the company he keeps?
They wanted a non-white person as POTUS. I said: He’s half-black on the outside but he is all red on the inside. Race doesn’t matter, WHAT DOES HE BELIEVE?
Reading this article is bittersweet for me.
Interesting analysis. If you survey the left-liberal crowd from the 1960’s until today, a lot of their behavior suggests a rejection of the demands of adulthood.

Goodwin's admission, while welcome in a "better late than never" sort of way, is absolutely useless as an excuse. Maybe next time, he and others like him will listen to their betters when we're trying to tell them the way things REALLY are.
