Actually, it was meth, not crack. Much was made of her supposedly “leading Nichols to Christ” with the Purpose Driven Life. However, Nichols soon converted to Islam in prison.
In 2008 a Georgia jury convicted him of 54 felony counts, but did NOT recommend the death penalty. As a result, the judge gave him multiple life sentences, meaning he will remain incarcerated until he dies, or Mike Huckabee is elected Governor of Georgia.
