We use debit cards but had kept one real credit card. Dodd’s act got that one cancelled because we had not carried a ballence on it for years.

Thanks to Dodd's act, I am not only cancelling my credit card, but dumping the credit union for its heavy-handed handling of the whole thing.

That's exactly the problem...the innocent are getting punished for the sins of the guilty...and that is always the intent of the Dems.
And it's always because they are trying to save their political behinds and buy votes with YOUR money.
