Do emails really have legal protection? They are going out over the “world” internet, unencrypted. What are the Brits going to do, if the hacker is not even in Britain?
There is a big difference between science that analyzes things that have happened and conducts experiments that have reproducible results and these GW scientists who play Ms. Cleo and try to predict the future. It’s sad some can’t see the difference.

Shelly: sorry, but I am a hardcore Republican, and I believe that global warming is true. As conservatism is the base of being a Republican, it is tempting to simply conserve old attitudes and say that it is NOT happening. However, through simple observation I can see that it IS. I live in Maine and it is 60 DEGREES-in NOVEMBER! My grandfather would have told you that that would be absolutely impossible. It has been 30-40 degrees too warm all autumn. It really should be 20-30 degrees F. This is totally crazy. This warm winter shit is for pussies. I would think that the Dumbocrats would love it. I am a conservative and I want to conserve winter. I love the cold winter; the freezing cold makes for a REAL man, a TOUGH man. I want to conserve the winter that my grandfather knew. I want Christmas to come back, a WHITE Christmas. I know for sure that the world is warmer than it was, and scientists have no real reason to lie to us about it being manmade. The definition of conservatism is BASICALLY wanting to conserve the status quo, but being all for appropriate change. The environment is changing and my Republican grandfather would be in favor of conserving winter (my hardcore, Goldwater Republican grandfather).
How can you make assumptions about the global climate from observations about the weather in your state for such a short period of time?
