You know who could kill this thing is state Governors and legislatures.
Governors should simply state that they will not abide by this law. After all, states created the federal government.

Thats an excellent point. However i do not see more then a few (maybe 10 states) that will go against the Feds. Politics has become just that. I’ll sell out the future of whatever there is, just so i can have power and clout for the next 4 years. the world will eventually be ruled by 1 “president” and i set of rules. question is, how long till that happens

The states were all but evicerated with the 17th amendment. The Senators used to be appointed by the state legislature but then some genius got the novel idea of having them elected by popular vote the same way that representatives were elected. It was the point at which the Republic’s destruction began to speed up.
