Obama promised during the presidential campaign that he would not increase taxes on couples making less than $250,000. But the Obamacare bill passed by the house, is loaded with higher taxes for the under $250,000. It looks as if the MSM is beginning comprehend the volume of taxes included in the plan because even ABC, which ran a prime time special with the president promoting the plan is beginning to report the increased middle class tax burden:

And the working definition of “Middle Class Tax Payers” is “anyone who pays (net) taxes.”
The people of the USA who still support this are asking to be taxed into total submission to The State — even (actually especially) the “poor” ones.

So ABC pimps the health care plan in Prime Time, and mentions the crushing tax burden on their blog. I guess that’s their definition of “fair and balanced”.

The absolute idiocy of those who support big government and socialism is unfathomable. It's very simple. If the government sees to it that you will not gain from extra effort, people will not make extra effort. Punishing those who succeed by taking from them what they earn is a sure way to either 1) reduce their efforts and thus the productivity of society, or 2) encourage new and creative ways for people to get around the system (hence the black market that flourished in the USSR).

I think most of us here knew, even before the elections, that BO was lying and that higher taxes were coming. Certainly, the Marxist mainstream media knew.

Obama promised during the presidential campaign that he would not increase taxes on couples making less than $250,000.How many promises has he broken?
The promise given was a necessity of the past: the word broken is a necessity of the present.
