You wrote it a lot better than I. I like Rudy aside from his social issues. He can’t tolerate the corruption and instruments of evil that the Demonrats are.
I love the way people narrow it down to just a social issue problem with Rudy. He is just as pro gun control as most dems and he likes govt. to spend money on nanny items like Huckabee. So it’s not just social issues.
It seems some RINOs use the idea that the social issue is the only problem to try to isolate social conservatives. But most conservatives knows there’s more trouble than that with Rudy. Hence, Rudy’s big time failure to thrive in the 2008 presidential elections.
Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate Rudy. He’s a NY conservative which like a Massachusetts conservative or a New England conservative means liberal anywhere else. He’s a dyed in the wool RINO, but unlike Scuzzyfava, he would never tell his supporters to vote for the democrat.
