Condescension of a Liberal
Who is John Galt ^ | 11/12/2009 | "John Galt"

"There are some people that can handle complicated truths. We call these people liberals. Most people by far however cannot handle truth of that level."

The complicated truth, in this context, is that Dems' healthcare strategy really is all about rationing. And when conservatives disagree with that model, Justin's position is that they "cannot handle the truth."

Other people who can't handle the truth are people whom you and I might call "liberals," but who actually believe the lies (or as Justin calls it, "guidance"). Where you know the truth and choose to disagree, these are people who only agree because they don't know the truth. Lenin called people like that "useful idiots." I asked Justin what he calls them:

"Those people call themselves liberals but don't really follow the high ideas that real liberals champion. Liberals say "everyone's viewpoint deserves to be considered in our government" and the people you describe are only capable of hearing "you should get whatever you want". It is unfortunate that so many people hear such a small part of such a big message, but if only those smart enough to be true liberals voted Democrat, we'd only get about 10% of the popular vote, so I'm going to take what I can get on this one."

In other words: Useful Idiots.

Liberals are confused with complicated lies. Conservatives see the lie, and don’t bother with it.

You will never understand a liberal until you understand their language, which is a kind of code. When they talk about “complicated truths,” what they really mean is “something which is not true.” That is why it is so complicated. And while they often chastise conservatives, claiming that they don’t understand these complicated truths, the reality is that conservatives fully understand them but simply reject them, which is something that liberals cannot comprehend. Indeed, while liberals whine that conservatives do not see complicated truths, the reality is that liberals do not see simple truths, like the fact that high taxes deter work and reduce income, ultimately defeating the intent of higher taxes. One could list thousands of such simple truths liberals won’t acknowledge but there is no point in it. The fiscal collapse of California is good evidence that they will not acknowledge reality even when it beats them black and blue.

I have no idea where this came from or who Justin is, but this is extremely revealing and the mindset is shown for what it is.

Here is my takeaway and the author is spot on. I have made these salient point myself but never seen it structured so pointedly:

1) Liberals believe they are in fact of superior intellect and know what is best for the masses, the minions, even though they do not know what is best for themselves.

2) The minions need to have their power and freedoms relinquished from them for their own good so that liberals can actually improve their lives. The minions will not initially understand that reducding their standards of living and their expectations of success is good for the whole of humanity, but it is what is best for the human race as a whole (globally).

3) (In their minds) No one else is able to understand this complicated and highly advance social structure because they are not as advanced intellectually as we are (like conservatives). They will never get it so there is no need to engage in trivial details and facts.

4) The ends justify the means regardless of what moral paradigm shift is necessary to get there (for the good of the whole human race).

What is truly disgusting about this is that it is the exact model of many a tyrant and dictator with one exception, the dictators were greedy for power, prestige and wealth. These folks are far more dangerous because their direction is completely unattainable without bringing the entire human race down to the least common denominator.

Global Warming is the perfect case. They want to bring uncivilized tribal humans up to a certain standard of living by giving them cash. But at the same time, for the good of the rest of the race, they want to prohibit industrialization of the same group of people. Industrialization does things like, transportation, production, agricultural expansion.

Put simply, they want folks to have clothes and food. They want the clothes to be hand knitted, not manufactured. They want farms cultivated with animals and grown for their own subsistence.

The flaws in this dogma are too numerous to start. It is an idea bred from academia, tested several times and failed. Humans do not live to merely exist. We exist, live and prosper by the fruit of our own labor and intellect. They forgot that important factor - Human nature.

RE Post #5:

To put your comments to the test concerning you example of California, and considering the principles explained by the liberal in the peice; since California has given up their wealth and standards of existence as a state, who was the benefactor? What good has come from CA sacrifice “for the good of all”?

Liberals everywhere (Inclduding Obama) see what is happening to America as “good” for the overall world. He stated today, “The world needs to be less dependent on America and Capitalism...(with regards to the global economic recession)”
