I've seen the exact same things. People purchasing the best cuts of meat and the most expensive brand named goods with food stamps and putting them into their brand spankin new Cadillacs. It's enough to make your blood boil.

You always hear this same crap every Thanksgiving. You've got people lined up at the food pantries so they can use the money they have on booze, cigs, or drugs.

My scuba club decided to help out one year and put together
some food baskets to pass around. I’m not sure how the recipients were picked, but the people who delivered these
things came back vowing to never do it again. One family
didn’t even get up from their wide screen TV. Just told them
to “put the stuff over there”.
