Adventures in PC Land: Liberals and Religious Extremism

Over the past few days we’ve seen the left, from the media to the White House, stubbornly deny the primary role religious extremism played in the Ft. Hood shootings. Like children desperately trying not to accept that Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy don’t exist, they’ve twisted themselves into pretzels trying to explain the massacre in every way except what’s so blatantly obvious.

But it’s not like the left has never acknowledged religious extremism before. In fact, liberals are very good at concocting it out of whole cloth, particularly when it promotes their agenda or suits their twisted view of their fellow countrymen in fly-over country.

In his latest article Jonah Goldberg reminds us:

A few months ago, an anti-Semitic old nut named James von Brunn allegedly took a gun to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum to get payback against “the Jews” and killed a black security guard in the process.

In response to this horrific crime, the leading lights of American liberalism knew who was to blame: Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and the GOP. One writer for the Huffington Post put it succinctly: “Thank you very much Karl Rove and your minions.”

The fact that Von Brunn was a 9/11 “truther” who railed against capitalism, neocons and the Bush administration didn’t matter. Nor did the glaring lack of evidence that Rove et al ever showed antipathy for the museum. It was simply obvious that Von Brunn was the offspring of the “right-wing extremism [that]

Most open anti-Semitism is found on the Left but all anti-Semitic crime automatically makes the perpetrators Right Wing Extremists. It is like voters. It is a life change that some Anti-Semites make. Like voters. When they die they become active Democrats.

Thanks Eric, you have it right. The religion of "peace" strikes again, and our leaders tap dance to the tune of political correctness. May the living and true God comfort the families of the fallen at Fort Hood, and bless all those in uniform who serve our nation in defense of liberty. The least of them is far more valuable than all the mealymouthed politicians in the world. http://daletoons.blogspot.com/

The equation is a simple one (it has to be, for the simple minded leftists to stay focused on it):

1.) Any act of violence which can be tied to, connected with, or associated with ANY Christian individual or group (especially a *conservative* individual or group) must be:

- "universally condemned" by all of society as a "hate crime", editorialized against, with across-the-board agreement that more laws are needed to "seperate church and state", provide more effective "gun control", and to more closely monitor such potential Christian criminal elements (i.e., "all of 'em").

2.) Any act of violence which is committed by a NON-Christian individual or group (i.e., Islamic jihadist, etc.) is NOT a "religious hate crime", but merely the actions of an emotionally disturbed individual whose beliefs have NO correlation to the beliefs of his/her associates, and we need to be continually admonished as a society NOT to jump to any conclusions or make any hasty judgment which in and of itself might constitute a "hate crime".

The Pentagon was warned from within by its own members, but refuses to accept responsiblity for the blood on its hands. The Bush administration identified and was actively monitoring Hasan. The Obama administration stopped the investigation. That simple. The liberals can’t help themselves — they aid and abet their fellow haters of our nation. Liberalism like terrorism is a pathological and malicious killer.

One day these idiot leftwing kooks have to face reality whether they want to or not. They refuse to grow up by making themselves inherently selfish because they will not accept accountability or garner any responsibilty.

The Left better get a clue we're in a war against Islam, we always will be. The only thing changing is Islam is getting bolder and more wacko with their trying to take over of the world!

How do you know this? Do you have a source?
