In your opinion, why was Obama quick to condemn Officer Crowley and the other police officers with him, but not quick to condemn Nidal Malik Hasan?
Why would Obama (after he said that he did not have all of the information) say that the police officers "acted stupidly" yet was not quick to condemn Hasan by calling him a Muslim terrorist?
Why does Obama show restraint when talking about people like Hasan, yet does not show restraint when talking about police officers like Crowley?
The thread title is a rhetorical question, yet posited so as to find out what people here have to say.

Because 0bama and Hasan are both Muslim! Mystery solved.
Obama has grown since the beer summit, and will no longer rush to judgment....unless it has to do with Fox News, conservatism, or the role of government.
Because this was more of a shout out moment for a fellow Muslim.
But a more accurate statement is that he is a traitor and that he hates white people and loves Islamic terrorists. I truly believe that.
Why does one have to even think of the reasoning. Carring this to the absurd, I wonder if obammma will have this terrorist over to the white house along with the brave cop who got four rounds center mass over for a beer.

I’ve been wondering that myself.
Because Hasan is Obama’s brother in Islam. They are both America-hating Muslims.
It’s because of the thought processes of liberalism, and politically correct thought.
The liberal mind automatically takes any event with whites and blacks and jumps to conclusions that race was a factor. Thus, a liberal/radical such as Obama automatically assumes that the police had no reason to arrest the black professor.
The liberal mindset looks at events such as the Duke lacrosse case in the same way. They immediately jumped to the conclusions that the white lacrosse players violated the black stripper girl in unspeakable ways. If the races of the people involved had been reversed, then the liberal would bend over backwards to see that there is no rush to judgement in such cases. But, clearly the liberal mind is prejudiced in cases involving race.
So in the case of the Muslim army man on a shooting rampage, the liberal mind bends over backwards to not conclude that his religion had any impact on what he did. The liberal mind wants to be very tolerant of all religions except Judeo-Christian religions. So the liberal concludes, prejudicially, that Muslim religion was not a factor here.
Whereas in the case of the guys who have attacked abortion clinics or shot abortion doctors, the liberal is all over their religious connections as a cause.
Then what about Obama’s reaction to Tiller being shot?
Has Obama indeed truly grown?
I say there’s no special reason, really, it’s just one more example of BHO epitomizing the Peter Principle - he had absolutely no past executive experience, there was nothing in his background making him ready for the presidency, so it’s not terribly extraordinary that he makes so many gaffes. Sometimes, though, I do wonder what his wife thinks, with her tongue-tied hubby going out in public without a teleprompter. Inotherwords, it’s quite unlikely that his rudeness is anything NEW — it comes too naturally to him, LOL
I have been forcing myself to watch Chris Matthews and Rachel whats-her-name, and to listen to AIR AMERICA radio.
These people are genuine -- i.e., they authentically believe in every word they are saying, there is NO pretence, no mental gymnastics, no nothing but genuine authenticity.
They are representative of millions of our fellow citizens.

Hell if the situation had been reversed you would see stories about how the stripper was racist for getting the community to pile on black men for false rape. You can bet she would have been locked up.
I don't think he knows what the goal is. He has surrounded himself with people who have very specific goals and he's just going along them in the hopes that people will see him as he sees himself - a demigod.
Just look at the expression on his face in this pic. He's in love with the idea of being loved.
That is a question deserving of serious analysis.

To begin with Obama is a psychopath.
The common saying is that most inmates in prisons are psychopaths, but not all psychopaths are in prison. Indeed many rise to position of high responsibility, such as president of the United States. Bill Clinton is another example of the successful psychopath.
A psychopath is a creature, some would say a subhuman, who exists without a conscience, so people to him are only objects, like chessmen to be used, abused, or killed in order to advance his own agenda.
Obama chose to become a socialist simply because socialism - a political philosophy was created by a psychopath for psychopaths to empower them to rule over the common man - and a “stay out of jail” card. Rob a bank with a gun of a $1,000 and a jury will send you to prison for ten years; rob the taxpayers of over $1 trillion dollars and you’re allowed to stay rent rent in the White House and given the Nobel Prize.
Those who think Obama is simply a racist or a Muslim miss the target by a mile - Obama cares for no human being aside from Obama and he will throw anyone or any institution under the bus at any time to advance his own personal agenda.
Obama is a monster - and unfortunately for our country - only recently started down his path of destruction that I predict will end in bloody civil war.

I hope I'm wrong, but yeah. I don't see the majority of voters looking past his snake oil salesman's charm or his politically fashionable hue without an as-of-yet-undiscovered Republican powerhouse of a candidate on the stage.
Well, friend. Keep reading FR. There is nearly overwhelming evidence that Obama's agenda and influence over American politics have already come to an inglorious end.
His despicable congress will be the first to go, next year. If The Boy King can even survive until 2012, he will be beaten in a landslide of historic proportions in that year (if the Dems still even have enough confidence in him to nominate him).
Obama's approval rating has dropped faster than any American president since those statistics have been kept. He's out-pacing Jimmy Carter to the bottom, which is really saying something.

The injustice of the orignial beer summit was that it implied that a good man (Sgt. Crowley), who was following standard police procedure, was morally equal to a bitter, angry, hate-filled race baiter who only achieved his position through affirmative action (Gates).
The very idea that Obama would invite an evil mass murderer and terrorist (Hasan) to a beer summit with the heroine (Sgt. Kimberly Munley) who stopped him, thereby implying that the two are morally equal, is absolutely sickening. Yet Obama is such an anti-American extremist that I can actually visualize him doing that.
