If we are going to “bridge” the cultures, then those living under theocratic Islamic rule should be more OPEN to seeing other religious perspectives.

My country has a legal system that doesn’t consider followers of one theology to be better than another, tax those who are not of the “correct” faith, and do not seek harsher penalties against those who do not subscribe to “the” faith of state.

Let's see we won't get to see Mohammad, what will he be like the eye of Sauron? They won't go into the fact that he married a 9 year old. Will they explain that Christians and Jews were made 2nd class citizens, forced to pay a tax, were not allowed to build new houses of worship and all the other humiliations they were forced to endure. Followers of "pagan" religions like Hindus of Buddhists fared much worse if they didn't begin worshipping the moon god. Will they go into that? I'm sure they'll touch on the crusades.

Hollywood used to be totally hedonistic when it came to morality. If it makes money, it is good, but if it loses money, it is bad. Money is the means for obtaining pleasure (sex and drugs). This does not explain what has happened over the last few decades. You have producers that are willing to make movies that are financial busts. Ideology has replaced profits. If it is anti-Christian and anti-traditional values, Hollywood will embrace it. Hollywood will make a movie about Mohammad for the primary purpose of attacking Biblical Christianity. You can be certain that Hollywood will not tell the truth about Mohammad.
