Newt, IMO, really did himself in with this. I *do* like Newt, in general, as a person who speaks intelligently.
I do not consider this much of a loss, because I have considered him positively unelectable for many years.
But IMO he really nailed himself into his own coffin with this scoffowhatza deal.
Newt is underestimating the power of the tea party movement and the 9-12 Revolution which is why he doesn’t show up on Beck.
Overall I like him as well.
But I must admit April has a point: “You know... that “couch shot” with Nancy killed this guys credibility. He’s nothing but an old fool now.”
