Barack Obama, Fabian Socialist

Barack Obama is a Fabian socialist. I should know; I was raised by one. My Grandfather worked as a union machinist for Ingersoll Rand (nyse: IR - news - people ) during the day. In the evenings he tended bar and read books. After his funeral, I went back home and started working my way through his library, starting with T.W. Arnold's The Folklore of Capitalism. This was my introduction to the Fabian socialists.

Fabians believed in gradual nationalization of the economy through manipulation of the democratic process.

Chilling but incomplete. I think the author pays insufficient attention to the thuggery always lurking in the background ready to hand to be done by SEIU or whatever outfit takes over from Acorn. Additionally, there is a very pervasive element of corruption obviously soaking through this administration which is going unobserved by a largely myopic press and uninvestigated by a Congress which is nearly as corrupt. The corruption is both venal and done by cronies.

Unfortunately, I find myself 100% in agreement with the article.

FABIAN? The speed with which this joker has moved us to socialism is, according to Prava (and they should know), “breath taking.”

This guy is a STALINIST!

The re-education camps and gulags won’t be far behind if he isn’t stopped.

Actually, almost all Democrats are Fabian socialists, some more anxious than others. Obama, however, is a Stalinist Marxist.

This helps explain some of the choices in advisers(czars) and why the have little or no real world work experience:

"they thought that the only real way to effect "fundamental change" and "social justice" was through a mass movement of the working classes presided over by intellectual and cultural elites."

I agree, especially how they are ramming this health care through when most of us don't want it. Article written in '08

That may be true, although it's also possible that since Obama hasn't run so much as a lemonade stand his absolute lack of management experience could account for part of it...but I do think it's the elitist bit more than the lack of experience.
