Obama jumps the shark

Obama just came on television in the form of a commercial touting 'health care'.

According to Obama in the commercial, passing health care will result in no negative consequences at all.

In fact, passing the health care bill will result in no change to your current benefits.

1) I have never seen a sitting President advertise in commercial form for the passage of an active bill on the floor. He is wrapped up in this thing like a cocoon and must do anything to see it pass. Did we ever see GW advertising for his amnesty bill? BTW, who is paying for these commercials? (*snicker*, ha ha, we all know it is Soros in one way or another)

2) How do you advertise a proposed takeover of 1/6 th of the economy by saying that "nothing will change"? OK, if nothing will change then why do I need it? You freakin idiot!

The whole pitch seems to be that everything is better with gubbermint control. We won't change anything. We won't cover illegals. We just want to control it, that's all.

I just got hit with another commercial. This one talking about the "evil" insurance companies. "Stick it to the rich insurance companies. Vote for health care." Different tact same message.

These guys are desperate and it is amature hour at the White House. I cannot believe it.

They put 0bama in other TV ads too, almost as if to imply some endorsement from him. Like for mortgages, loans etc. I wonder once he gets down to like 40% approval ratings if they won’t be so eager to use him like a spokesperson.

It is always refreshing to get an original thinker in the white house. Lets see, financial melt down requires national healthcare to fix. Wow, sham wow! It is really too bad I didn’t go to the Ivy Leaque to get an education, I might actually follow such thinking.

If Walmart is in favor of Obamacare, then it must mean that it’ll be the little guys that will end up paying for it.

What is a tagline? Sorry I am so dumb.

but I agree with this guy....I am stunned and amazed w/ the self promotion (which is what it is) involved in this presidency.

I am concerned that such self-inflation is not conducive to stable mental health in such a self.

saw that while I was at the gym....said several expletives while it was on the TV screen and laughed....the last part, about NO increase in the deficit, will haunt him for a long, long, time....

more people will now come to realize we don’t have a president or leader rather one long, unending, bag of wind campaigner..

It is so unusual to see Obama on TV! After enduring his two to three times a day speeches now we have to see Obama commercials in between to fill up the non-Obama air time.

I change the channel every time he comes on. I already know ad nausea what he is going to say and where he stands on Everything...sheesh I get it, I get it, leave me alone already.

He’s on TV too much.

He gets lots of face time. But just on healthcare, he’s had the ABC news informercial at the White House, the prime time press conference, the town meetings, the appearances on Meet the Press, etc., the prime time speech to Congress, along with all the useful Democrat idiots going out on various programs and parroting the talking points.

Maybe they will realize that the concept of Obamacare is not getting through to people.

It’s interesting that the poll numbers have gone down for Obamacare, even as he tries to push it more.

And the death of Ted Kennedy had no effect on the debate. Teddy won’t be able to push Obamacare over the finish line in death.

“What is a tagline? Sorry I am so dumb.”

A tagline appears next to your handle when you post a comment - mine refers to the fact that the day of BO’s election was the day “America jumped the shark”
