Pathetic. Atrocious. Embarrassing. Disgusting. Feel free at any time to add your own negative adjective to describe the Houston Texans performance on Sunday in the season opener against the New York Jets at Reliant Stadium. The 70,718 fans in attendance, mostly wearing white at the Texans request, should get a refund. Now we all understand that this was just one game, but enough is enough. Every year we get so excited and believe this is our year, just to have to sit there and watch a terrible product on the field. Under head coach Gary Kubiak, the Texans are beginning to have an alarming trend. They get out of the gate slow, get knocked out of playoff contention early, and play well and win a bunch of meaningless games down the stretch. Coach Kubiak on his teams performance "Obviously very poor. We were pretty much dominated as a football team across the board. We obviously weren't ready to play and that starts with me. You play that poorly, that starts with the coach. I didn't have them ready to go." How in the world do you not have your team ready to play in week one?

Coach Kubiak on his teams performance When asked about the team's execution, he said, "I'm in favor of it."

Pathetic. Atrocious. Embarrassing. Disgusting. Feel free at any time to add your own negative adjective to describe Jay Cutler (although Aaron Rogers was no great shakes either).

The Texans requested we wear white so I bought two $65 jersey at Academy. I wish they had told be that all I needed was a white flag to wave during the the surrender. What is the difference between me and the Texans offense?
I showed up Sunday. Fortunately I had $300 club level seats right by the bar.

I guess the Houston Texans should have spent more time practicing for the real season, rather than trying to get their kicker to hit the scoreboard at Cowboy Stadium

Well it’s just one game—could it be that the Jets are that much better even though Houston stunk it up?
