Huffington Post exploits AP’s dying soldier photo

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 4, 2009 05:06 PM
What’s more shameless than the Associated Press defying the wishes of a dying soldier’s family and splashing his bloody body all over the wires?

Why, the Huffington Post reprinting a massively large version of the image on its front page with an accompanying blog commentary praising the AP photographer’s work as “tasteful” — along with thousands of comments praising the decision and calling for even more bloody US troop photos to be published.

***

And no, I’m not done with the AP yet. Blogger Ztower points out that the AP refused to reprint the Mohammed Cartoons because they were “offensive”
, but has no problem offending a dead soldier’s family for the Greater Journalistic Good of ginning up anti-war sentiment.

Slimeballs.

The things that the Left will do to forward their agenda, and the convoluted ways in which they attempt to justify their methods continually disappoint me....just when I thought that they couldn't go any lower, they shatter my low expectations.

There's a change and a reckoning coming to these quislings who will not offend the enmeis of this nation,. but who are perfectly comfortable offending and desecrating those who fight and die to give them their freedoms. Barometric pressure is changing.

I’m pretty sure that’s what the Ass. Press wants. Their Taliban buddies have really been taking some hits lately and they are probably putting pressure on their AP buddies to help them get the American soldiers and Marines out of Afghanistan.

this reminds of the time there was all that outrage because the AP printed a photo of dead baby after its mother made a “choice” to “terminate her pregnancy”

oh wait, that never happeened...

Hey, they figure people will blow off a little steam and they'll get lots of free press. Who has ever held this sort of scum accountable for anything? Why should they give a crap about what is or isn't respectful to those who die in the service of their country? No one ever made the respect anything other than their own little wants their entire lives, who's going to start making them do it now? They have the head scum in the Whitehouse and he has three or four dozen little czars running loose without anyone at all voting on them or even knowing who they were going to be until after their appointment.

Middle of the road people were happy to join in the Bush bashing and talking about a “bad war” or “wrong war”, even if they didn't agree with scum like those now waving this sort of picture around. The great middle in this country has never learned that sometimes you just have to shut your mouth until the shooting is over. Then, do what needs done when our own people aren't in the line of fire anymore, and until that time don't trust anyone who doesn't respect those troops who are in the field.

So, here we are, watching pampered American punks drag the body of a Marine through the streets just as surely as Somalis dragged the corpse of a Ranger through the streets of Mogadishu; and people are surprised, or shocked? Give me a break, the wonderful "independent voters" and "disgruntled republicans" in this country signed all of us up for the HD Pay Per View version of these pictures and those that will follow when they elected someone who has pandered to the anti-american anti-military, crowd his whole life.

have a nice day
