I know the title might seem silly, but in this Era of Obama and his national health care plan. It would seem his death panels would find a use for Grandma and Grandpa after they are gone.
We need to show up at townhalls with shirt that say, "Please Mr. President don't turn my Grandma into Soylent Green!"

I almost listed this as humor, then I really thought about it and remembered the era we live in.

It won’t work. The reference is too vague for the 52% that we’re trying to win back. They barely remember last year’s American Idol winner.
(I already tried it last month on some 52-ers, and they just gave their usual blank stare that you get for anything requiring a functional mind.)

I think it was generational and one would have to be a reader too.

Hooyah, Kevin! Been awhile, how the heck are ya?
I do think it's funny. And don't let 'em tell you nobody will get it - I was in a grocery store line earlier today and the young bagger was talking about the flick. Apparently it's been on somewhere lately.
Ridicule is the most potent weapon we have - that old goof Alinsky was right about that, at least, although as a revolutionary he was so amateur he wouldn't last twenty minutes in a real one. But they don't like ridicule. They really, really don't.

I've been referring to it as SOLVENT Green. Two birds, one stone. See my tagline...

Mommy:Will Obama turn Grandma into Soylet Green?"
Or a bar of soap, or a lampshade. It will be one of the three. But Gramdma probably voted for him. The elderly are scared now and for good reason. obama has full intentions to kill them. But they should have thought about that November 4, 2008.

If I remember correctly the late great actors Edward G. Robinson and Charlton Heston had an emotional scene where Robinson (his last role BTW) utters the immortal last words "soylent green is people...". Heston cried real tears because he knew Robinson had terminal cancer....

You will be graded.
If you have cancer at two years old: Back of the line. You probably will not contribute to society. (ie. be a taxpayer)
If you have cancer at twenty years old: Front of the line, maybe if you have no other pre-existing conditions and in school. (ie. future taxpayer)
If you have cancer at forty years old: Middle of the line. You are probably contributing to the system. (ie. a taxpayer)
If you have cancer at sixty years old: Back of the line. You have contributed.
You probably won’t last long anyway. (And a bonus, you won’t collect social security.
