Gallup: 35% Think The Tone And Civility Between Dems And Republicans Has Gotten Worse Under Obama

And 65% knew it was already horrific before TOTUS was elected.

It is becoming increasingly evident that the alleged ‘great pacifier’ and the annointed one of hope and change, a post-racial America, the one to end “stale politics” as usual, is unable to walk on water as advertised and sold.

As is noted in another thread, the Commander Of Incivility in Chief proclaimed yesterday that:

“I don’t want the folks to do a lot of talking... I want them just to get out of the way.”

No mystery about where the declining “tone and civility” has its source.

It’s gotten better, Republicans now call the president a socialist, the dems used to call the president Hitler, chimp, etc.

That is an improvement.......

How could it be otherwise???

If a Republican expresses his disagreement and gives the numerous reasons why to Obama the answer given isn’t any reasoned opposition, Obama simply says “I won”.

Well, isn’t the reason our senators and congressman are there in Washington DC because “they won” too?

The answer is simple as my poster:

And there were clues about this new tone during the campaign last year. Remember Obama said once that his supporters should get in people’s faces and start arguments, or something along those lines. And considering his background in Chicago politics, his work with Saul Alinksy’s organizations, etc. we shouldn’t be surprised.

Has any MSM reporter ever asked Obama about his connections to Saul Alinsky? Is that subject taboo?

“I don’t want the folks who created this mess to do a lot of talking... I want them just to get out of the way so we can clean it up.”
POTUS/TOTUS

Sets a new standard for discourse all right.

FLAG THIS.

35% Think it has gotten worse
40% Think that it is was so bad it couldn't possibly get worse.
25% Think a riot is a good time to loot and hence like the new tone.

The perpetual belief that the sycophant American media has anything useful or honest to say is not useful.

Maybe they did 40 years ago.

Time to ditch that antiquated belief forever.

They don't deserve the title of Main Street Media. They are the Brown Shirt Media. Bastards.

"“I don’t want the folks to do a lot of talking... I want them just to get out of the way.”"

Can you imagine if Bush had made such a proclamation? It would be covered non-stop, 24/7.

And 34% of dems, 17% of indies and 11% of pubs think it’s gotten better. Stupid, clueless people.
